Ingredients (1 serving)

  • 1. Shrimp
  • 2. Olive oil
  • 3. Garlic
  • 4. Salt
  • 5. Black pepper
  • 6. Red pepper flakes
  • 7. Lemon juice
  • 8. Fresh parsley
  • 9. Lemon wedges

Cooking method

1. Preparation

Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

Peel and finely chop the garlic.

Chop the fresh parsley for garnish.

If using lemon, cut it into wedges for serving.

2. Cooking

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Once the oil is hot, add the chopped garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Be careful not to burn it.

Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer and season with salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, if using.

Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink, then flip them over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on the other side.

Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the lemon juice.

Transfer the shrimp to a serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
