Ingredients (1 serving)

  • 1. Miso paste
  • 2. Dashi stock
  • 3. Tofu
  • 4. Green onions
  • 5. Dried seaweed

Cooking method

1. Preparation

Gather all ingredients: miso paste, dashi stock, tofu, green onions, and seaweed.

Dice the tofu into small cubes.

Chop the green onions finely.

If using dried seaweed, soak it in water for a few minutes until it softens.

2. Cooking

In a pot, heat 4 cups of dashi stock over medium heat until it begins to simmer.

Add the cubed tofu to the pot and let it warm for about 2 minutes.

In a small bowl, take 1/4 cup of the hot dashi stock and dissolve 3 tablespoons of miso paste in it until smooth.

Lower the heat to prevent boiling and stir the miso mixture back into the pot.

Add the softened seaweed and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.

Finally, stir in the chopped green onions just before serving.
