1. Preparation
Gather all the ingredients: cucumber, cream cheese, bread, salt, pepper, and dill.
Wash the cucumber thoroughly under running water.
Slice the cucumber into thin rounds, approximately 1/8 inch thick.
In a mixing bowl, soften the cream cheese if necessary by allowing it to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
Add a pinch of salt, a dash of pepper, and chopped dill to the cream cheese. Mix well until combined.
2. Assembling the Sandwich
Take two slices of bread and lay them flat on a clean surface.
Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture evenly on one slice of bread.
Arrange the cucumber slices over the cream cheese, covering the entire surface.
Sprinkle a little more salt and dill over the cucumbers for added flavor.
Top with the second slice of bread, pressing down gently to hold everything together.
3. Cutting and Serving
Using a sharp knife, cut the sandwich into quarters or halves, depending on your preference.
Arrange the sandwich pieces on a serving plate.
Optionally, garnish the plate with a few sprigs of dill or additional cucumber slices for a fresh presentation.
